At the Oslo Freedom Forum, speakers will share diverse perspectives and expertise, from those individuals with first-hand experience in the fight for human rights to those offering insight based on academic research and political and non-profit leadership. Begun last year and taking place in the center of Oslo, Norway, the Oslo Freedom Forum hopes to be for human rights what TED is for technology and entertainment.
Lee was approached last year to write the theme of the Oslo Freedom Forum, which opened the sessions and introduced each speaker. He is returning this year to provide a more complete theme package, as well as a 45 minute collection of music to be recorded by the ETHEL quartet, based in New York City. Recording is to happen April 9-10, with the actual event happening April 27 and 28. Come back for more details and samples of the music!
