New Documentary: State Street

New Documentary: State Street

Lee was asked to write underscore for three short documentaries, commissioned by Boston-based bank State Street. The three pieces are “Boston Debate League,” with an urban flare, “Women’s Lunch Place” about a safe haven for abused women, and “Maritime Apprentice Program,” which has a sea feel to it. Sheet Music for 2081

Sheet Music for 2081

When I originally released the sheet music for “Shine a Light,” the package was really just a cleaned up version of the live score I recorded in the Czech Republic. It was missing the material I recorded on my own, with other musicians or with samples, i.e. Vibraphone, Taikos, Crystal glasses, Piano etc. While the sheet music sounded good as it was, I decided that it was unfair and a misrepresentation to just present a partial score. So I decided to write out the remaining parts. Now, the sheet music for sale on the site truly is the soundtrack as it was produced, as it is heard in the movie. **I’m working on a piano solo version as well, which I’ll post as soon as it’s ready. Thanks as always to everyone who’s expressed interest, and happy holidays. p.s. if you’ve previously bought the score, there’s no need to buy it again if you’d like the remaining parts. Just send me a message. off

New Commercial: EyeMo Prank

New Commercial: EyeMo Prank

This spot has been out for a while, but I haven’t added it to the site until now. Contracted for Grey Singapore, this Eyemo prank is a “viral” campaign, spreading the word about the eyecare solution. China has an aesthetic all its own, and for this spot they wanted something cartoon-ey and bouncy. Natalie Venus, immensely talented LA-based singer, lent her vocal talents for the project. Check out the video below!

New Commercial: Bru Water

New Commercial: Bru Water

Check out my latest commercial – A spot for Bru bottled water, a Belgian brand. The spot features a game of “musical chairs” – the last chef holding the empty makes dinner for the others. A nice simple idea and executed well. Features prepared piano and strings, though the piano knocks and piano string flicks give it more of a honkey tonk feel than anything. Video after the break!
